Ljubljana to Nova Gorica is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Ljubljana in July, plan for a bit warmer nights in Nova Gorica, with lows around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Piran.
