8 days in Piran Itinerary

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.

Get out of town with these interesting Piran side-trips: Predjama Castle (in Postojna), Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park (in Rakek) and Vipava River Spring (in Vipava). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Tartini Square, pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and Head underground at Škocjan Caves.
