A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
Change things up with a short trip to Predjama Castle in Postojna (about 54 minutes away). There's lots more to do: Head underground at Škocjan Caves, admire the landmark architecture of Sodna palaca, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hrastovlje Church of the Holy Trinity, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church.
