Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ljubljana: Bled (Spa Park, Bled Island, &more). A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.Venture out of the city with trips to Predjama Castle (in Postojna), Vipava River Spring (in Vipava) and Reservoir Dogs brewery (in Nova Gorica).
