In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.

Drive from Bovec to Piran in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from Bovec in June; daily highs in Piran reach 32°C and lows reach 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Mon) early enough to drive to Ljubljana.
