Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Ljubljana Old Town and Ljubljana Castle. Get outdoors at Vintgar Gorge and Postojna Cave. Majorca, Spain to Ljubljana is an approximately 9-hour flight. Traveling from Majorca in August, things will get a bit cooler in Ljubljana: highs are around 31°C and lows about 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Bovec.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sat): look for all kinds of wild species at Planica Valley, identify plant and animal life at Vršič Pass, and then get outside with Outdoor Activities. On the 7th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: trek along Krampež Waterfall, appreciate the views at Soča Valley, and then take in breathtaking views at Virje Waterfall.

You can drive from Ljubljana to Bovec in 2 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train, bus, and taxi; or take a bus. In August in Bovec, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 14°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 8th (Mon) to allow time for travel back home.
