A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Magical World of Shells Museum and Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum. Museum-lovers will get to explore Pivka Park of Military History and Mediadom Pyrhani. Change things up with a short trip to Military Museum Tabor in Lokev (about 42 minutes away). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Strunjan Nature Reserve, stop by Nika's Tiny House, tour the pleasant surroundings at Svetilnik Beach, and see the interesting displays at Izolana - House of the Sea.
