In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Explore hidden gems such as Tolmin Gorge and Virje Waterfall. Take a break from the city and head to Vršič Pass and Lake Jasna. Step out of Bovec to go to Kranjska Gora and see Ajdovska Deklica, which is approximately 56 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Soča Valley, take in the dramatic scenery at Kozjak Waterfall, and let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour.

Kick off your visit on the 16th (Sat): make a trip to Walls of Piran and then don't miss a visit to Tartini Square.

In October, Piran is a bit warmer than Ljubljana - with highs of 22°C and lows of 12°C. On the 16th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
