Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Old Town Centre of Radovljica and Cankarjevo Nabrežje. Get in touch with nature at Parasailing & Paragliding and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Step out of Ljubljana with an excursion to Straža Bled in Bled--about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, ponder the world of politics at Town Hall, and walk around Tivoli Park.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, make a trip to Walls of Piran, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and finally make a trip to Tartini Square.

You can drive from Ljubljana to Piran in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in June, plan for a bit warmer nights in Piran, with lows around 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sun) so you can go by car to Bohinjsko Jezero.

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
