Spodnja Idrija is a settlement on the right bank of the Idrijca River in the Municipality of Idrija in the traditional Littoral region of Slovenia.The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and belongs to the Koper Diocese. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Hg Smeltery, then kick back and relax at Natural Bathing Place Lajšt, and then go deep underground at Idrija Kamšt.
