On the 22nd (Fri), look for all kinds of wild species at Savinjska. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: have fun and explore at Vrbovec Castle & Museum, step into the grandiose world of Castle Komenda, and then see the interesting displays at The Grom Motorcycle Museum.

Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Mozirje: Skomarje House (in Zreče), Spas (in Šmarješke Toplice) and Jelenov Greben Homestead (in Podčetrtek). There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Celje Castle, have fun at Mozirski Gaj Gardens, get to know the fascinating history of Aškerčev Square, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. George Church.

Gornji Grad is the largest settlement and the administrative centre of the Municipality of Gornji Grad in Slovenia.GeographyIt is located on the Dreta River, a right tributary of the Savinja, in the southeastern foothills of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, about 36km east of Celje and 55km north of Ljubljana. Kick off your visit on the 27th (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Gornji Grad Cathedral and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Velika Planina.
