The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Step out of the city life by going to Mala Osojnica and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. You'll explore and learn at Museum of Apiculture and Liznjekova house. Change things up with these side-trips from Bled: Church of St John the Baptist (in Bohinjsko Jezero), Kranjska Gora (Zgornjesavska Valley, Casino Korona, &more) and Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline (in Rateče). In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
On the 26th (Tue), don't miss a visit to Italian Charnel House, admire the verdant scenery at Soča Valley, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Mary of the Assumption church, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit.
