The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Straža Bled and then explore the striking landscape at Vintgar Gorge.

Budapest, Hungary to Bled is an approximately 5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of shuttle and bus; or do a combination of flight and shuttle. Expect a daytime high around 32°C in July, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 4th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Bovec.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Change things up with a short trip to Tolmin Gorge in Tolmin (about 48 minutes away). There's much more to do: paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, explore the stunning scenery at Virje Waterfall, explore the activities along Soča Valley, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Italian Charnel House.

Kick off your visit on the 8th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Little Castle and then contemplate the waterfront views at Kamniška Bistrica Valley. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Sat): contemplate the waterfront views at Plansarsko Jezero, then walk around Logar Valley Landscape Park, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Velika Planina.
