Piran — 2 nights

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
On the 2nd (Sat), stroll around Park Pietro Coppo, then explore the fascinating underground world of Škocjan Caves, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower. On the 3rd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum, and finally don't miss a visit to Tartini Square.
