Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Change things up with these side-trips from Ljubljana: Bled (Triglav National Park, Wine Tasting Bled, &more), Čop's Birth House (in Žirovnica) and Postojna (Postojna Cave & The Secret Rooms of Hotel Jama). A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
On the 28th (Mon), relax in the rural setting at Fonda Fish Farm, then relax and rejuvenate at Fish Spa Piran, then make a trip to Tartini Square, and finally get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum. On the 29th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: Head underground at Škocjan Caves and then browse the different shops at Planet Koper.
