On the 17th (Wed), pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Saint Stephen, then examine the collection at Public Institute Ribnica Handicraft Centre, and then explore the historical opulence of Ribnica Castle and Museum. Ljubljana

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Cankarjevo Nabrežje and Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Get some historical perspective at Franciscan Church of the Annunciation and Ljubljana Castle. Spend the 20th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Dedicate the 21st (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
