The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): admire the sheer force of Mostnica Gorge, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, then glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj.

Piran — 1 night

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Thu): make a trip to Tartini Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, engage your brain at Magical World of Shells Museum, then make a trip to Walls of Piran, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower.

Traveling by car from Bohinjsko Jezero to Piran takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In July, Piran is somewhat warmer than Bohinjsko Jezero - with highs of 35°C and lows of 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Ljubljana.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Parasailing & Paragliding and Zipline.
