Kids will appreciate attractions like Ljubljana Old Town and Bled Castle. Explore Ljubljana's surroundings by going to Vintgar Gorge (in Zgornje Gorje), Postojna Cave (in Postojna) and Bled (Parasailing & Paragliding, St. Martin's Parish Church, &more). There's still lots to do: take in the views from Triple Bridge, engage your brain at House of Experiments - Hisa eksperimentov, admire nature's wide array of creatures at ZOO Ljubljana, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. Nicholas.

Prague, Czech Republic to Ljubljana is an approximately 6-hour shuttle ride. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. In August, plan for daily highs up to 31°C, and evening lows to 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Piran.
